Bumper & Panel Repair in Chicago

Bumper covers and outer panels are the first things people see and the first things to get damaged. Because they sit in the middle of everyone's line of sight, a poor repair here undermines the whole car.

How it works

Three steps to an estimate

  1. 1. Send the details

Fill out the short form or call the shop. Photos of the damage or the project help us understand what we are looking at.

  2. 2. We look at the vehicle

We follow up to talk through the work, then review the vehicle in person so the plan and the estimate match reality.

  3. 3. The work gets done right

Prep, repair and finish are handled in-house, and you see the vehicle when the panel reads the way it should.

Why bumpers are their own problem

Bumper covers are flexible, textured in places, and often a slightly different shade than the metal panels around them from the factory. Refinishing one so it disappears takes a different approach than a door or a fender.

Blending into the vehicle

A repaired panel is finished with the surrounding panels in mind, so color, gloss and texture carry across the car rather than stopping at a hard edge.

Questions we hear most

Can a cracked bumper be repaired, or does it need replacing?

Plastic bumper covers can often be repaired when the cracks and tears are limited and the mounting points are intact. Once the cover is shattered or the tabs behind it are gone, replacement gives a better fit. The bumper is looked at in person before that call is made.

Will the new bumper paint match the rest of my car?

Bumper covers are refinished to your vehicle's paint code and blended into the adjacent panels so the color reads the same in daylight. Faded factory paint is accounted for during the match.

How long does bumper repair take?

Time depends on whether the cover is repaired or replaced, how much prep the surface needs and parts availability. Call the shop at (708) 841-3110 with your vehicle details for a realistic window.

Do you fix scuffed and scraped bumpers too?

Yes. Parking scrapes, curb rash and scuffed corners are everyday work here. The area is prepped, filled where needed and refinished so the repair blends instead of standing out.

What about sensors, cameras and fog lights in the bumper?

Hardware mounted in the bumper is removed before refinishing and reinstalled in its original position. Damaged fog lights, brackets and clips are replaced so everything sits and lines up correctly.
